Guardian is the independent student newspaper at the University of Glasgow.
Edited by Lucy Smith and Chris Watt, the publication hits the streets every fortnight during term time. All staff, including the editors, are unpaid, non-sabbatical students at Glasgow University or the Glasgow School of Art.
The paper has won numerous prizes in recent years, including Best Newspaper at the Herald Student Press Awards, as well as individual prizes at the Guardian Student Media Awards.
Guardian has launched many leading figures in Scottish and national media, including celebrated Scottish politician Donald Dewar, former Sunday Times editor Andrew Neil, and the novelist William Boyd.
Guardian is funded through advertising revenue and offers discounts for block bookings. For more information on advertising rates and dimensions, click here or contact the editors directly by emailing guardian@src.gla.ac.uk, or calling: 0141 341 6215.
