mr cruikshank seems to pick on certain alleged gangsters and his stories always seem to be the same. He really needs to widen his horizon’s there are much more things going on in Strathclyde

The guy is a weasel, printing anything and everything to me they are just preying in the weakest of society . Its one thing convicted criminals not being able to prosecute for libel because in the laws eyes if you have a criminal record you dont have a reputation to defend. But is that also true for for the sons, daughters, sisters and brothers of these criminals, just because they are related even though they have never been in trouble in there life its ok to drag them through the mud?

Just seen a prime example there of some gangster who has died, after printing all tales under the sun(some true some not) that they here from everyone and anyone, without stopping for a sec to see if its true– they then started on the guys daughter just because she found him. About how she wasent loved as he never signed her birth certificate. I mean fair enough about her dad being a criminal and all the bad things written about him but ti go after the lassie who her only crime was to find her dads body? is just immoral.

if a journalist becomes a journalist and reports…… surface news only,then perhaps they need to blame the people who gave them the credentials to enter the….. hounarable world of journalism.
Ours is to report the facts,of events on a global scale.
For such a task,the true journalist needs the fundamental knowledge of
‘The jungle telegraph’. archival documentary news,has its most important roots in the understanding
of this….it cannot be taught only experienced
jim cruikshank is to journalism, what tommy sheridan, is to politicts&john smeaton is to bravery
they are all potential folk-lore hero’s.
Where as you,or ,I are not.
